Kate Flynn is an entrepreneur passionate about creating a more sustainable future. She is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sun & Swell, a Certified Women-Owned, B-Corp based in Santa Barbara, CA with a mission to eliminate single-use plastics from the packaged food industry and build a more circular food system.
Kate earned her MBA from Harvard and holds a BA in Economics from University of California – Santa Barbara. Prior to launching Sun & Swell, she was a Management Consultant and CPA. She lives in Ojai, California with her husband and co-founder, Bryan, two small children, and labradoodle.
In a perfect world, you would not buy anything packaged, you’d buy everything at your bulk store or your farmer’s market but we want to be the option when you don’t have time to do that… we always say we’re the second best option and not the first best option.
