Daphna is the co-founder and CEO of TIPA, a global compostable packaging company providing innovative solutions for the fashion and food industries. Daphna established TIPA in 2010 and was ahead of the curve when she recognized that there was an urgent need to revolutionize packaging systems and reduce plastic pollution around the world. Daphna has received multiple awards for her work, including being named as a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum in 2019.

Building your own business is full of challenges, day in and day out. The glory is tiny at the end, maybe…[You have to] take baby steps, solving the day to day problems, but always look at the horizon and the big mission that we’re all here for. For me it’s not an easy journey but because I believe in the mission, I keep leading it, keep fighting for it. I believe eventually it will happen.
