Is this your brand? Our process is explained below.
WAMA was founded by Shakib Nassiri around hemp, one of the most sustainable textile fibres.
Its underwear uses a blend of 53% hemp, 44% organic cotton and 3% spandex with dyes it says are OEKO-TEX certified, and is made in a factory in China the brand describes as BSCI-audited, which it audits through a team member based on the ground.
It is a PETA-Approved Vegan and Green America Certified brand.

Is this your brand?
This initial rating is based on information that WAMA has made public. Our full rating lets brands evidence more and generally receive a higher rating. For WAMA, that could include a climate footprint or reduction disclosure, a full restricted substances list or whole-product certification, a take-back or end-of-life path, water data for its hemp and organic cotton, a plastic-free packaging specification, and a donation programme.
A full rating also unlocks your brand’s tier badge here and in every guide that features you. It also includes a badge licence for your own site. There is a fee for a full rating. The process takes a couple of weeks and about two hours of your team’s time.
"The whole process was authentic and I felt that you held me accountable for our claims."
