Omba is a Canadian, family-run brand specializing in solid hardwood furniture made from FSC-certified North American oak and walnut. Each piece is handmade in the brand’s Vancouver workshop and finished with a GREENGUARD Gold–certified, 0% VOC, food-contact-compliant hard wax oil.
The furniture is designed and built to last a lifetime, with minimal production waste, and refinishing and repurposing of returned or damaged items. Packaging is plastic-free, and customer reviews, while limited due to the brand’s early stage, are very positive, highlighting the quality craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal of the products. Omba was founded by Daniel Marks in Vancouver, Canada, in response to the prevalence of cheaply made, short-lived furniture produced overseas. His goal was to create locally made, high-quality pieces using responsibly sourced materials, designed to last a lifetime.
Each solid-wood piece is crafted in-house, ensuring exceptional build quality and attention to detail.
