At MUD Jeans we offer a unique leasing system. You can lease your jeans for a small monthly fee, then – after a year – you can either return them, swap for a fresh pair, or keep them – it’s your choice. And no matter what option you choose, we're here for free repairs, if you need them. We will gratefully take your old jeans back at the end of use and recycle them into brand new jeans.

And no matter what option you choose, if any repairs are needed then we will sort them, free of charge. We will gratefully take your old jeans back at the end of use and recycle them into brand new jeans. In doing this, you are reducing the negative environmental impact of your jeans, while feeling free.

How does leasing work?
While you pay a monthly fee for 12 months and enjoy wearing the jeans, we remain the owners of the raw materials. After 12 months the jeans are yours and the payments stop automatically. You can decide to keep the jeans (for free), swap them for a fresh pair, or return them for recycling (for free, obviously). With our lease system we aim to maximise the use of our jeans, avoiding the materials to go to landfill, but keeping them in our closed loop recycle system.

You can start the leasing process by choosing the style you love most on our product pages and selecting the "lease now" option before check-out to get your freshly new MUD Jeans. From then, you will be guided on our leasing platform.
After 12 months, the payments stop automatically, and the jeans are yours to keep (the longer, the better for Mother Earth)... until you decide to send them back to us for recycling.
I have 3 pairs of MUD Jeans, love the fit. Opted to lease, knowing that I can return the jeans for recycling when I'm ready for a new style, great.

Do I have to keep paying after 12 months?
No, you don't have to keep paying after 12 months and as a matter of fact, the payments will automatically stop after this period! Your jeans have been paid off and they are yours to keep... Until you decide to send them back to us for recycling.
What makes leasing different from buying?
Simply put: leasing means paying a small monthly fee over the course of one year instead of a larger amount all in one go. For us, this is a fantastic way to ensure we get back our raw materials once your jeans are worn out, in order to create new jeans out of them. The financial incentive for you: your following leases will be cheaper. You will get a 10% discount on your next lease that both you, your family and your friends can also enjoy!
Can I change the jeans throughout the lease?
No, you have to lease the jeans for a consecutive 12 month-period. After that, the payments stop and you can keep the jeans for as long as you'd like (the longer, the better for our planet). However, you can decide to lease a 2nd or 3rd pair of jeans during or at the end of your first lease at a 10% discount! If you want to do this at the end of your leasing period, you can swap your jeans for a new pair and start the leasing process over again.
What is a family discount?
Once you have become a member of our leasing MUD fam', we would love for you to spread the circular word. So, your family members and friends have a special offer... They can start leasing a pair of jeans on your account at a 10% monthly discount!
