Handcrafted one razor at a time in our Baltimore workshop.
Gillette makes amazing razor blades but their handles are ugly plastic disasters. We make handles that fit Gillette
Shaving and grooming should be a ritual you enjoy and our wooden handles fit modern cartridge blades that look great!
Some of the tools we use everyday. Imperium Shaving uses a mix of traditional hand tools and modern machines.

Razors And Handmade Shaving Sets

Imperium Shaving is a small artisan studio based in Raleigh North Carolina. We are dedicated to producing the highest quality handcrafted razors and shaving sets available. We are a close team who work together to make the best razors on earth. Imperium Shaving started in a small basement shop as a one-man operation and quickly moved to a rented garage with no heat. After two winters of freezing cold weather (where my coffee would freeze solid) and 7 day work weeks, I took a chance with my tiny savings and decided to make razors full-time. I quit my day job and moved from the freezing garage to a beautiful studio space in Woodberry Baltimore and turned a 150-year-old factory space into a modern, clean workshop with 4 employees. After the pandemic I moved to a bigger factory in NC to be closer to family. Now Imperium Shaving has the proper space and the ability to turn a rough-cut piece of lumber into a finely crafted razor that is truly a work of art. We work to make unique and stylish products at reasonable prices, because if you shave every day it may as well be with something beautiful and well-made. All of our items are made by hand as we try to elevate a daily routine into a luxurious ritual.
